Today I began adding my soaps to my Etsy shop ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/Bradfordartists ). I’ve had the space on Etsy a long time but could never settle on what to offer. I started putting up a few odds and ends just to get used to the tools. And today I took the big plunge and posted my soaps. I desperately want to give my small batch soap business an opportunity to “earn its way” and hopefully this will help make that possible. I know there are a gazillion sellers of soap on Etsy so the odds are challenging. But nothing ventured – nothing gained! I’m proud of my soaps and I know that people will enjoy using them.
Had my last craft show of the year – the Holiday Bazaar at Southwest Airlines. Unfortunately that little show gets smaller each year and the timing is terrible since it is always held on the Monday right before Thanksgiving. It is only open to Southwest employees and their visitors – and many employees have already headed out on vacation by the day of the show. But people are always so friendly and, since I worked there many years, I have a fun time getting to catch up with friends. As usual it was a day filled with laughter – and some sales – and my hubby cooked dinner that night so it doesn’t get much better than that!
I hope you will visit my Etsy shop and that it will become one of your “favorites”. I will be adding more soaps in the coming weeks. I have a lovely eggnog-scented soap that is curing right now and I will post it as soon as it is ready – just in time for Christmas gifts!
